Some of you may remember from my first demo reel the song titled, "Marimba & Vibraphone". This is the complete version of the song. I used very minimalistic instrumentation and production which I feel fits the song nicely. It is also the first recording in which I used my violin. I am not a good violin player though so it doesn't sound perfect.

While you listen to the song, I encourage you to spray paint graffiti on the empty spaces of the Flash document.

Ahh. I'm glad you used the violin, although you slided a bit too much into one of the first notes and the tremolo didn't seem quite strong enough. (I wish I could record my violin to show you what I mean; otherwise I just sound like a prick. >>

The rest of the song was excellent; it actually reminded me of Donkey Kong and some other SNES games. The minimalism works, although I agree that a brass section would work as well.

Hehe, thanks a lot! My sloppy violin playing is due to the fact that I have only been playing for about a year or so and I'm teaching myself so my technique is probably flawed. But I appreciate your compliments greatly.
